Graduate Recruitment Consultant – 25K OTE

The Company
Metrica Recruitment is a part of The Graduate Recruitment Bureau (GRB), a market leading graduate recruitment consultancy based in Brighton. Founded in 1996, we now employ over 40 people and turn over nearly £4m.
With access to the GRB’s unrivalled candidate database, Metrica specialise in placing experienced candidates into their next data science and analytical roles. We work with a range of clients including financial services, commercial organisations, tech consultancies and start-ups.
The Role
You will work in a rewarding and target driven environment, learning from our experienced team. You will be given a personal development plan, structured training and both group and 1:1 coaching from day one. Unlike other agencies, we won’t throw you straight in at the deep end. You will begin as a resourcer where you will:

Learn how to use the company database to run searches and update profiles
Source and select the best candidates from internal and external databases
Conduct telephone interviews, qualify suitability and market positions
Gain specialist knowledge about your sector
Market jobs to our database candidates
Arrange interviews
Conduct market research

Training and personal development really is continuous. After roughly 9 -12 months, you will be promoted into the role of consultant where you will begin to build your own market, including:

Business development to win new clients
Visiting key clients (when safe)
Working with resourcers to generate an exceptional shortlist of graduates
Preparing and coaching candidates to maximise their chances of success
Managing the interview feedback process and ultimately making and closing job offers

Recruitment is a challenging industry, requiring real resilience, but the rewards are fantastic for ambitious and driven people who want to climb the ladder. The starting salary for this position is £20,500 plus commission, and by year 3 you should be taking home 40K+. There are transparent opportunities to progress to senior and management consultants, and our sales directors all started out as resourcers!

Demonstrable resilience
Strong communication skills and a good telephone manner
Confidence and ability to build rapport, relationships and network
Driven, with the perseverance to overcome obstacles and achieve targets
Organised; able to multi task efficiently and manage multiple projects
Commercial awareness
Passion; taking pride in what you do and giving your all
Commutable distance to Brighton, as office working will resume once safe to do so

If this sounds like you, apply today!
Due due to current Covid-19 risk, interviews and the induction period will take place remotely via video calling, until the company returns to office working. Therefore applicants must have a suitable home working environment, including high speed broadband to be considered for this role.
Please note that due to the high volume of applicants, we may not be able to get back to all unsuccessful candidates straight away.
